WHATS DIFFERENT?
Chains of Ruin brings unique approaches to existing issues within the card game design space. Some of these are;
CHAINING SYSTEM
We’re aiming to create a strategic card game where each player can prove their skills by outsmarting their opponent while giving plenty of opportunities to outplay by predicting or interrupting your opponent’s plays.
PLACEMENT MATTERS
Using the game’s grid placement cards can affect both the columns and rows allowing each player a unique way to interact with their opponent’s board.
CARD COST SYSTEM
To bring consistency while allowing playstyle and archetype mixing we have created a new Play-Point hybrid cost system, while not sacrificing any gameplay flow.
